PoIS is lead by Charlie Simmons, founder of DMV Network, an ecommerce service that allows auto dealers to issue permanent license plates from their showrooms. Charlie has been around the auto industry for the past 35 years, and has spent the past 15 years working with automated solutions that connect dealers, lenders, and DMV's.
Brian Jamison, Vice President Sales and Marketing, is a veteran of the retail car business for over 22 years. As General Manager for Pohanka Saturn of Bowie (MD), Brian and his team earned the #1 Saturn Dealer in the MD, DC, VA Region for 11 consecutive years, and stayed in the top 5% nationwide for Customer Satisfaction. Brian also founded Automotive Innovations, manufacturing and marketing accessory items for Hondas. He is a graduate of the NADA Dealership Academy.
Donald R. "Scotty" Walsh, Management Consultant - Mr. Walsh was CEO for Avatech Solutions taking the company from years of losses and sales stagnation to profitability before retiring in 2007. As executive vice president for what is now Convergys, he was instrumental in turning the privately held company with annual revenues of $10M into a publicly traded organization with revenues in excess of $140M when it eventually merged with InterVoice, Inc. For 23 years, he held a variety of senior management positions with IBM where he oversaw the development and market growth of large-scale systems to the education, local and state government sectors within North America.
Christopher Olander, Management Consultant - Chris is the principal of his own law/management consulting firm, providing transactional and ongoing counsel to businesses and financial institutions. He concentrates in the representation of technology companies and underwriters, investment bank M&A divisions, hedge funds, private equity funds, and other institutional investors. Chris co-founded and served for 20 years as the managing partner of a regional law firm of 45 attorneys headquartered in Baltimore, Maryland. Chris received his undergraduate degree from The Johns Hopkins University (1970) and graduated with honors from the University of Maryland School of Law (1973). He has authored numerous books, as well as articles in legal and financial journals on issues ranging from interest rate swaps, the resale of restricted and control securities, PIPE transactions, merger and acquisition transactions, and venture capital financing.
Mark Singleton the former CEO of COIN Systems, Inc. and KeyTrak, Inc., is one of the founders of COINdata Corporation. Mark, who has more than three decades of experience in developing leading edge products for the automotive industry, is credited as the man who pioneered the first computer-based F&I system for automotive dealerships. He also helped develop some of the first computerized financial banking systems.
John Miller's over 25 years in the industry begins with direct sales of technology solutions for car stores, and includes serving as a Director with Reynolds and Reynolds. Most recently, John founded and operated @utoRevenuetm the industry leader in fully automated, multi channel marketing communications to the Automotive Industry.
Arlene Weinstock was most recently Government Relations Manager at VINtek, and she was previously Vice President there for several years. Arlene was involved for many years with NADA, and American Association of Motor Vehicle Administrators, and she was a founding member of the National Title Solutions Forum, now a subsidiary of AFSA.
The SGS Title Center - Titles from all Lenders will be shipped to the "PoIS Title Center", under a private label agreement with SGS. The SGS Title Center is in Huntersville, NC, near Charlotte, and it has been in business since 1999. SGS processes over a million titles annually, with 'Six Sigma' efficiency, mostly serving the rental industry. Customers include Avis and Hertz and GM Remarketing. The SGS operation is so efficient, corporate partners such as GM and Chrysler require all fleet titles to be handled by the SGS Title Center prior to turn-back.
